My Wonderful Experience with Crio’s Winter of Doing
Introduction:
Crio Winter of Doing is a one-of-a-kind tech externship program for developers, where you get to work on challenging projects with some of India’s top startups like Groww, CRED, Jumbotail, Recko, Slice and Vicara. And it’s absolutely free!
What is Externship:
Externship is basically an informal internship for a short period of time; this externship program is a great opportunity for college students and working professionals to work on real-time projects & bridge the gap between theory & practical work.
There are three stages in the journey.
The stage1 consist of 5 byte : HTTP , REST APIs , Linux , Cloud , Git. The bytes are completely structured and informative . The best part of crio’s is #learnbydoing philosophy , where you don’t simply saw video or learning syntax but doing hands on practice by taking small steps , which most of courses lag. Not just that, Crio’s team had even organized sessions to clear up our doubts before enrolling into the program.
It’s not wrong to say that Crio aims to fill the gap most learners feel tech education has.
There is seperate channel on slack related to each byte and also for announcement , different session on each day where you know brief about a byte. Also there are expert session by Crio’s developers and fire chat session with Mr. Binny Bansal and Mr. Vivek Ravishankar. To be honest , i never found such a organized and structured programme and looking forward to be a part of this wonderful journey. A Big Thanks to this Crio for this new approach.
